It will easily get to the point of being an antique if adequately cared for and you need not feel like you will have to purchase another dining room setting for a long time. Don’t assume that you will find poor craftsman working with teak – because of its expensive nature and semi-rarity only master craftsmen really work with it.
It is also not an easy wood to work with because it is so resilient.
